Safety Tip: Load Carrying We often see forklift operators driving around with their loads up in the air. This dangerous practise is a sure-fire way to get up the nose of any WH&S Inspectors who may be sniffing around your way. And for good reason: Carrying the load high impairs forklift stability, and may lead to tipping, especially if the forklift is being driven at speed or is cornering. So drop your load as soon as
it is practical, and keep on the good side of WH&S. |
