| Proud history of quick, reliable repairs. This edition marks our 20 years in business and lets us thank you for your support. Active Fork Lift Service was started in 1980 by a qualified mechanic and fork lift salesperson Bruce Coates. Initially, he worked as a mobile mechanic during the day and conducted workshop repairs by night to minimise downtime. Bruce's long hours and hard work soon paid off. One service van quickly became two, and by the late 1980s, the fleet had swollen to four. Meantime, five accredited mechanics joined the Active team. Leading the way. Active cemented its position as a progressive company in 1993 when it became one of the first Queensland businesses in their industry to receive third party Quality Assurance accreditation. Following the accreditation, the only way to go was up! In 1996, Active upgraded its 60 tonne press to a 100 tonne press for large-scale carriage body work. In the following year, Active introduced another new service: Proudly Australian. As a company forging ahead into the 21st century, Active is committed to remaining fully Australian-owned. Your money stays in Australia when you call them. Whether you need some trouble-shooting over the telephone, a quick repair done right the first time, or advice on how to get the most from your fork lift... |
